EDGED WEAPON DEFENSE WORKSHOP

DESCRIPTION:
Learn how to get inside of an attack and stop the delivery system; myths, misconceptions and realities of knife attacks; recognize when an attack is imminent; understand justified Use of Force, learn drills that harness instinctive reactions to stress, understand how heart rate and fear affect motor skills. Class includes all materials necessary.

STUDENTS MUST BE AGE 18 or ABOVE. MUST HAVE 4 STUDENTS MINIMUM TO HOLD CLASS.

NRA RANGE SAFETY OFFICER COURSE

LOCATION: CLASSROOM AND PRACTICAL EXERCISES AT THE OUTDOOR RANGE (NO LIVE FIRE IS INVOLVED)

COURSE LENGTH: 9 HOURS

MINIMUM AGE: 21

DESCRIPTION:
The RSO course content consists of RSO’s roles and responsibilities, range standard operating procedures, range inspection and range rules, firearm stoppages and malfunctions, and Range Safety Briefings and emergency procedures.

PA HUNTER EDUCATION COURSE

FEE: FREE!

LOCATION: CLASSROOM

COURSE LENGTH: 7-1/2 HOURS

MINIMUM AGE: 11

DESCRIPTION:
This class is required by law for ALL First-time hunters and trappers in Pennsylvania before they can buy a license. Students must pass a certification exam at the end of the class to complete this training. Registration is through the PA Game Commission Website – select the date of the class you wish to attend, and click “See Details and Register Here” below to reserve your spot. Bring snacks and lunch – a refrigerator is available to keep it cool.

Important In order to prepare for your class, read Chapters 1, 4, 5 and 9 located at: Today’s Hunter & Trapper in PA.
