NRA FIRST STEPS PISTOL - BEGINNER OR REFRESHER LEVEL

Introduction to a pistol. Course includes taking your First Shots.

MINIMUM AGE:          15

REQUIREMENTS:   

Students must bring their own pistol and 50 rounds of target ammunition OR they may use Instructor’s pistol and ammunition during class for an additional $50.00.

DESCRIPTION:     

NRA First Steps Pistol Course is designed to provide a hands-on introduction to the safe handling and proper orientation to one specific pistol action type for classes of four or fewer students. Students will learn the NRA’s rules for safe gun handling, the particular pistol model parts and operation; ammunition; shooting fundamentals; cleaning the pistol. Students will take their first shots at the range under the immediate guidance of their instructor. Students will receive the Basics of Pistol Shooting handbook, NRA Gun Safety Rules brochure, NRA Marksmanship Qualification Booklet, FIRST Steps Course completion certificate.

NRA FIRST STEPS PISTOL COURSE

NRA BASIC PISTOL COURSE -BEGINNER OR REFRESHER LEVEL

This course includes everything in the 4-1/2 hour beginner course + additional live fire exercises and knowledge.

COURSE LENGTH:     8 HOURS

MINIMUM AGE:        15

REQUIREMENTS:    

Students must bring their own pistol and 100 rounds of target ammunition OR they may use Instructor’s pistol and ammunition during class for an additional $50.00.

DESCRIPTION:  

NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting includes: gun safety rules, proper operation of revolvers AND semi-automatic pistols, ammunition knowledge and selection, pistol selection and storage, shooting fundamentals, pistol inspection and maintenance, marksmanship, and shooting range safety. Students will complete live fire training and a nationally standardized shooting qualification while on the range with an NRA Certified Instructor. Students will receive the NRA Guide: Basics of Pistol Shooting handbook, take a Basics of Pistol Shooting Student Examination and receive a course completion certificate bearing the signature of the NRA Secretary and your NRA Certified Instructor.

NRA BASIC PISTOL COURSE

SIRT Pistol

USCCA PISTOL - INTERMEDIATE LEVEL

USCCA - CONCEALED CARRY AND HOME DEFENSE FUNDAMENTALS - Using SIRT Guns in Classroom

COURSE LENGTH:      5 HOURS

REQUIREMENTS:   

Students must be Experienced and Knowledgeable in the safe use of a pistol (this class is NOT for the beginner).

MINIMUM AGE:          21

DESCRIPTION:     

This is a 5 hour course in the classroom using SIRT (Shot Indicating Reset Trigger) training pistols provided by the Instructor. There is NO LIVE FIRE involved in this class.  This course is for anyone age 21 or older considering owning or carrying a firearm for self-defense. The course is a guide to understanding conflict avoidance and situational awareness; home security and home defense; handgun basics; shooting fundamentals; the physiology of violent encounters; the legal aspects of using deadly force (including knowing what to do in the aftermath); and a guide on gear, gadgets, and ongoing training.

USCCA - CONCEALED CARRY AND HOME DEFENSE FUNDAMENTALS

NRA Basic Course in Concealed Carry (CCW) - ADVANCED LEVEL

COURSE LENGTH: 10-1/2 HOURS: 8-1/2 HOUR CLASSROOM SESSION AT WSR + 2 HOURS AT SURVIVAL TRAIL INDOOR RANGE (6801 Easton Rd., Pipersville, PA 18947)

MINIMUM AGE:         21

REQUIREMENTS:    

Student must bring their own pistol and ammunition, 9mm / 38special caliber minimum. 250 target rounds are recommended. Must have strong side KYDEX holster for your firearm and a double magazine pouch plus 3 magazines. Must have completed NRA Basic of Pistol Shooting Class prior to taking this course. 

DESCRIPTION:  

This course covers Firearm Safety; Basic Defensive Skills – Defensive Accuracy, Flash Sight Pictures, Instinctive Shooting; Drawing from Concealment, Emergency Reloads, Re-Holstering; and Mindset for using a Pistol for Personal Defense.

FEE: $150.00 for one person or $220 for two persons

COURSE LENGTH:     2-1/2 HOURS

REQUIREMENTS:    

Student must bring their own pistol and ammunition. 100 target rounds are recommended.

DESCRIPTION:  

Enjoy a 2-1/2 hour private session with a firearms instructor working on specific skills you want to improve. Private Coaching is usually available within 2-3 weeks of the request.
