NRA FIRST STEPS RIFLE - BEGINNER OR REFRESHER LEVEL

Introduction to a rifle. Course includes taking your First Shots.

LOCATION: CLASSROOM AND OUTDOOR RANGE

COURSE LENGTH: 4-1/2 to 5 HOURS

MINIMUM AGE: 7

REQUIREMENTS:

Students must bring their own rifle and 50 rounds of ammunition OR they may use the Instructor’s rifle and ammunition during class for an additional $50.00.

DESCRIPTION:

NRA FIRST (Firearm Instruction, Responsibility, and Safety Training) Steps Rifle is designed to provide a hands-on introduction to the safe handling and proper orientation to one specific rifle action type for classes of four or fewer students. Students will learn the NRA’s rules for safe gun handling, the particular rifle model parts and operation; ammunition; shooting fundamentals; cleaning the rifle. Students will take their first shots at the range under the immediate guidance of their NRA Certified Instructor.

NRA FIRST STEPS RIFLE COURSE

NRA BASIC RIFLE SHOOTING COURSE

This course covers everything in the 4-1/2 hour beginner course + additional live fire exercises and knowledge.

COURSE LENGTH: 8 HOURS

MIINIMUM AGE: 7

REQUIREMENTS:

Students must bring their own rifle and 100 rounds of target ammunition OR they may use the Instructor’s rifle and ammunition during class for an additional $50.00.

DESCRIPTION:

NRA Basics of Rifle Shooting Course includes classroom and range time learning to shoot rifles. Students learn NRA’s rules for safe gun handling; rifle parts and operation; ammunition; shooting fundamentals; range rules; shooting from the bench rest, prone, sitting and standing positions; cleaning. Students will receive the Basics of Rifle Shooting handbook, NRA Gun Safety Rules brochure, NRA Marksmanship Qualification booklet, take a Basics of Rifle Shooting Student Examination, and receive a course completion certificate.

NRA BASIC RIFLE COURSE

RIFLE - INTERMEDIATE LEVEL

PRIVATE COACHING

FEE: $150.00 for one person or $220.00 for two persons
LOCATION: OUTDOOR RANGE

COURSE LENGTH: 2-1/2 HOURS

MINIMUM AGE: 7

REQUIREMENTS:

Student must bring their own rifle and ammunition. 100 rounds are recommended.

DESCRIPTION:

Enjoy a 2-1/2 hour private session with a firearms instructor working on specific skills you want to improve. Private Coaching is usually available within 2-3 weeks of the request.
